TANK RECEIVING-AND-DISPENSING DEVICE Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: oil industry. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used at collecting, preparation, transportation and storage of oil and oil products and in different branches of industry using tanks and reservoirs. Proposed receiving-and-dispensing device has branch pipe with flange, tank clap valve consisting of housing, flange and over connected with clap valve drive winch by cable. Tank clap valve is installed inside receiving-and-dispensing chamber which consists of cover and walls. One wall of chamber with port of diameter equal to diameter of flanges is secured coaxially between flange of receiving-and-dispensing branch pipe and flange of tank clap valve housing. Receiving-and-dispensing chamber is installed by its walls on flexible base on support with forming of slot over perimeter between tank bottom and flexible base to form fan-shaped stream of oil or oil products passing through this slot. Drive of tank clap valve is located on wall of tank at level of receiving-and-dispensing branch pipe and is furnished with system of post-mounted blocks. Invention provides efficient operation of receiving-and-dispensing device which decreases "dead" residue and intensity accumulation of "dead" corrosive active sediment and precludes formation of gas-air mixture saturated with product fumes under pontoon and reduces agitation of product in tank at pumping in.
