FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: antifriction polymer composition contains the following in wt %: mechanically activated serpentinite 1-5 and polytetrafluoroethylene - the balance. The serpentinite is pre-activated in a planetary mill for 2 minutes. After preparation, the composition is pressed and sintered at 375-380°C and an article with the required shape is obtained.
EFFECT: invention increases longevity and operating capacity of friction assemblies due to high wear-resistance and low coefficient of friction while maintaining deformation-strength properties.
