FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: reactor has active zone (4) formed with a set of fuel elements (12) and submerged into heat carrier (F) circulating between active zone and at least one heat exchanger (10). Fuel elements (12) are extended along the corresponding parallel longitudinal axes (A) and have the appropriate lower active parts (13) submerged into primary heat carrier so that active zone can be obtained, and corresponding service parts (14) which are elongated upwards from the above active parts and come out of primary heat carrier. Mechanical support for fuel elements (12) is provided by means of supporting structures (120) due to attachment of the corresponding upper head parts (32) of those elements to them, and operation with those fuel elements is possible by means of lifting and transporting devices.
EFFECT: improvement of reactor design.
