FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a nuclear reactor. Reactor (1) comprises housing (2) containing active zone (4), which comprises a bundle of fuel elements (12) and which is immersed into primary cooling liquid (F) of core (4). At that, fuel elements (12) pass along corresponding longitudinal and parallel axes (A) and are mechanically supported by means of corresponding heads (16), connected to each other and connected to fastening structure (11) by means of support devices (22), which are involved between adjacent heat-generating elements (12) or between heat-generating elements (12), located on periphery of core (4), and fastening structure (11) and which are a component part of heads (16) of fuel elements (12).
EFFECT: technical result is possibility of inspection and replacement of support grid of core, exclusion of floating effect, requiring complex attachment of fuel elements to their support grate and/or balancing using high-density materials, as well as optimizing the design of the core with reduced bulkiness.
