FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy and may be used in production and repair of ship outboard pipelines, fish protection devices and other structures. Proposed weld joint metal comprises the following components, in wt %: nickel - 10.0-42.0, iron - 0.70-1.70, manganese - 0.50-1.20, silicon - 0.07-0.30, titanium - 0.05-0.30, copper making the rest. For every weld joint, nickel content in weld joint material should exceed that in parent metal by 1.0-10.0%.
EFFECT: more positive stationary potential in sea water of weld joint compared to that of parent metal, rules out defects.
