FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: rubber mixture contains rubber selected from natural and/or synthetic diene rubber and precipitated silicon dioxide. The precipitated silicon dioxide has specific surface area defined from adsorption of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) (m2/g) and mode Aac (nm) of diameters of primary aggregates, defined by acoustic measurement of particle size distribution, which satisfy the equation (I): Aac ≥ -0.76 (CTAB) + 274. Loss on ignition (% drop in weight when heated to 750°C for 3 hours) minus heating loss (% drop in weight when heated to 105°C for 2 hours) can be less than 3.
EFFECT: rubber mixture has improved dispersability of silicon dioxide, has low heat release and improved wear-resistance.
