FIELD: rubber.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a rubber mixture containing silicon dioxide. Rubber mixture contains: (A) a rubber component containing 10 wt% or more of one kind of rubber selected from the diene rubber synthesized by emulsion polymerization and natural rubber and 90 wt% or less of another type of diene rubber; (B) silicon dioxide has specific surface area by adsorption of bromide n-hexadecyltrimethylammonium (CTAB), in the amount of 60 m²/g or more and less than 140 m²/g in determination by ASTM D3765-92 method; (C) silane binding agent in accordance with the general formula; and (D) vulcanization accelerator. Rubber mixture upon vulcanization has an average area of aggregated units of silicon dioxide of 300 nm² or more and 3300 nm² or less.

EFFECT: disclosed rubber mixture has improved characteristics of low heat release.
