FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a rubber composition containing silicon dioxide. Rubber composition contains: (A) a rubber component containing from 90 to 100 % by weight of one type of diene rubber obtained by polymerisation in solution, and from 0 to 10 % by weight of other type of diene rubber; (B) silicon dioxide with specific surface area of adsorption of n-hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) is 180-300 m2/g when determined by a method described in ASTM D3765-92; (C) a silane binding agent selected from compounds of general chemical formula; and (D) vulcanisation accelerator, wherein average area of aggregated units of silicon dioxide of rubber composition after vulcanisation is 300-1,700 nm2.
EFFECT: invention improves characteristics of low heat release of rubber composition.
