FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a process for obtaining a rubber mixture. The mixture consists of a rubber component (A), a filler comprising an inorganic filler, (B), a silane coupling agent (C) and at least one vulcanisation accelerator (D). Component (A) comprises at least one member of natural rubbers and synthetic diene rubbers. Vulcanisation accelerator (D) is selected from guanidines, sulfenamides, thiazoles, thiurams, dithiocarbamates, thioureas and xanthates. In the process the rubber mixture is kneaded in several stages. During the first kneading step (X) a part (A') of the rubber component (A), all or part of inorganic filler (B), all or a part of silane coupling agent (C) and all or part of a vulcanization accelerator (D) are added and kneaded. During or after the second kneading stage a residual part (Aʺ) of rubber component (A) is added and kneaded.
EFFECT: invention provides a reduction in heat generation as a result of a further improvement in activity of glazing function of silane coupling agent.
