FIELD: oil and gas production.
SUBSTANCE: method for determination of rates of two jointly operated oil formations includes preliminary oil sampling from each production formation with determination of concentration of stable reference constituent in samples. Then surface sample of oil extracted from two formations is taken. Target values are calculated by material balance of reference constituent. Note that as reference constituent in samples there measured is a concentration of hydrogen sulphide directly in well with the aid of portable analyser.
EFFECT: improvement of reliability of estimation of each formation contribution into overall oil production and increase of level of efficiency evaluation of geological and technical activities on extraction of residual oil.
