FIELD: oil collection and treatment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the collection and treatment of oil and associated petroleum gas at oil production facilities and is intended to determine the daily volume of associated petroleum gas separated from oil at the first separation stage. The method is implemented on the basis of performing a material balance for a stable component of well production - hydrogen sulfide. Its mass remains unchanged before and after the separation of associated petroleum gas from the well water-oil emulsion. Preliminarily, for a group of wells, the production of which enters the gas separator, using a gas analyzer, the daily mass of produced hydrogen sulfide is found, the daily mass of hydrogen sulfide in the separated oil and the concentration of hydrogen sulfide in the associated petroleum gas after the gas separator are also determined. In the absence of a gas meter on the gas separator gas line, the volume of separated associated petroleum gas is determined by the calculation formula after measuring the mass of hydrogen sulfide in the water-oil emulsion after the gas separator and determining the concentration of hydrogen sulfide in the associated petroleum gas.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of reporting information on the production of associated petroleum gas and obtaining operational information on daily gas production even in the absence of an efficient gas meter.
