FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: DNA is recovered from peripheral venous blood; tumour necrosis factor gene polymorphism (-308 G/A) is analysed. If observing the genotypes -308 AA and -308 AG TNF, the highest manifestation and resistance of pain syndrome is i, and multimodal postoperative analgesia is recommended. If observing the genotype -308 GG TNF, less manifested pain syndrome is predicted, and monomodal postoperative analgesia is recommended.

EFFECT: use of the method enables the prediction of intensity and resistance of pain syndrome following videolaparoscopic cholecystectomy in the patients with chronic calculous cholecystitis.
