FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: device includes antechamber and nozzle of supply channel, diffuser and working part. Working part is equipped with turning table installed in lower horizontal plane outside the zone of air flow, which has independent control mechanism, three-axis traverse rigidly attached to turning table and having and independent control mechanism, and turning table for arrangement of investigated models, which is installed in zone of working part of aerodynamic tunnel and has independent control mechanism. Besides, flat screen of working part is extended and has the length that is comparable with the dimension determined with distance on the side of screen edge to the edge at the diffuser beginning, and flat screen has a through hole and is rigidly attached outside the zone of working flow to the flange of nozzle of aerodynamic tunnel, vertical posts and horizontal crossbeams, which are located outside air flow zone.
EFFECT: easier measurements, enlargement of capabilities of experimental diagnostics methods of aerodynamic flows in aerodynamic tunnels; enlargement of possibilities of simulation of the atmosphere boundary layer performance of model meteorological investigations in aerodynamic tunnels with working part of open type.
