FIELD: information technologies.

SUBSTANCE: method to detect location of a mobile station includes a stage, at which multiple data packets are created, every of which comprises multiple coded signals of cellular communication; multiple data packets are sent along a data transfer network, which corresponds to at least one sector serviced by multiple transceivers, at the same time at least one of multiple transceivers carries out broadcasting transfer of data packets. Location of the mobile station is determined on the basis of received multiradiate signals corresponding to a mobile station reply to broadcasting of at least one of multiple data packets.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to detect location of a mobile station within a closed structure.
