FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medical visualisation. System for visualisation of prostate cancer consists of source of electromagnetic radiation and detecting unit, which form multitude of trajectories of electromagnetic radiation. Source of electromagnetic radiation is in urethral unit, located near prostate gland. Detecting unit is in transrectal unit also located near prostate gland. System also contains unit of reconstruction of images of diffusion optic tomography and recognition unit for recognition of healthy and affected tissue on the basis of information contained in said set of said images. Method of visualisation is realised with application of system. Machine-readable carrier of system contains code segments, ordered for realisation of all stages of method. System is applied for localisation and diagnostics of affection of tissue in anatomical structure in vivo or for control of direction in biopsy of tissue affection in anatomical structure in vivo.
EFFECT: application of invention makes it possible to improve resolution and detection of affected tissue, increase depth of penetration during visualisation and reduce load on examined objects.
