Abstract RU 2224463 C1

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out transrectal ultrasonic examination in the case of specific prostate antigen concentration being equal to or greater than 0.2 ng/ml. The value not exceeding 0.2 ng/ml, transrectal ultrasonic examination is carried out not later than 8 months after radical prostatectomy and then not less than once per 3 months in power mapping mode with following three-dimensional angiography. Echotomography pictures are analyzed with sequential angular displacement to 360 deg with step of 5-15 deg. At least one pathological vascularization zone being detected, initial signs of local recidivation are diagnosed. EFFECT: high accuracy and reliability of diagnosis.
