FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmology and is intended for treatment of resistant forms of open-angled glaucoma. Applications with formation of microcanals at equal distance from each other are applied in sclera in projection of ciliary body on entire circumference. Contact impact of erbium laser radiation with wavelength 1.56 mcm in quasi-continuous generation mode 200/200 mcs is used. Power of impact is 0.75 W, exposure being 4 s per each application. Impact is repeated after 2-3 months in case of further increase of intraocular pressure.
EFFECT: method ensures efficient limitation of intraocular fluid production by ciliary body due to coagulation effect of laser impact in safe mode, as well as due to enhancement of watery moisture filtration through microcanals, formed in sclera.
