FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used in grinding parts of the type of a body of revolution with curved profile made from ceramic materials. Proposed machine tool comprises bed with guide, workhead to support workpiece and feedbox, main drive, support with slide and machining tool, dead head with tailstock spindle and elements to drive it on bed guides. Measurement assembly is secured on bar mounted on bed and consists of displacement module, transducer and servo drive. Machining assembly is made up of bracket furnished with adjusting screws and electrically driven spindle with collet and nut to mount grinding wheel. Electrically driven spindle is controlled by frequency inverter. Control outputs of aforesaid main drive, support drive, slide drive, frequency inverter, transducer and servo drive are connected with NC system interface inputs.
