FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to glass feeders for production of continuous fibers. Proposed device comprises glass feeder for fused mineral material to flow through. Note here that said glass feeder comprises elements including perforated bottom plate and nozzles, opposite lateral walls, opposite face plates and shield arranged nearby lateral walls and face walls for fused material to flow there through. Note here that glass feeder elements comprise at least one structural element and at least one not structural element. Structural elements comprise perforated bottom plate with nozzles and, possibly, at least lower sections of opposite lateral walls. Note also that structural elements are made from high creep-strength first material while not structural elements are made from second material with lower creep strength compared to said first material. Aforesaid shield if made from third material with high content of palladium.
EFFECT: higher rust and erosion resistance.
