SUBSTANCE: device for protection of a roof against ice crusts and icicles comprises a manifold of coolant supply creating a closed circuit, an evaporator and a coolant, at the same time the coolant supply manifold comprises a supply gas line, a condensation gas line, a condensate line. Connection of the evaporator with the gas line and condensate line is arranged as capable for the coolant evaporated in the evaporator to get along the supply gas line into the condensation gas line, which is arranged as capable of heat exchange with roof elements or elements of the water drain system, in which the coolant is condensed, and along the condensate line in liquid phase to get into the evaporator, the evaporator is arranged in a thermal flow. The device is tight and arranged as capable of setting devices or systems to monitor parameters of the coolant.

EFFECT: reduced operational costs.
