FIELD: vent systems for buildings used for icicle formation prevention in cold period and for natural building ventilation facilitation in warm period.
SUBSTANCE: device has heat pipes having evaporation sections arranged in exhaust air vent channel (airway) and condensation sections secured under grain pipes and gutters of building roof. In snowfall period snow is accumulated on building roof. Accumulated snow is melted by heat supplied thereto through building ceiling structure. Water from melted snow flows to cold gutters and drain pipes. This results in ice accumulation and icicle formation. Heat pipes are reversible due to provision of similar internal structures of condensation and evaporation sections and due to usage of working body mixed of different low-boiling liquids. Working body is prepared so that it may change heat transmission direction in dependence of ambient temperature (followed by inner heat pipe pressure change).
EFFECT: increased efficiency.
