FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: joint alignment of reconnaissance and armaments facilities is carried out relative to a geographical system of coordinates using a device of a satellite navigation system installed on an armaments launcher and a reconnaissance facility. Transmission of target coordinates is carried out in a polar system in the form of target designation angles of azimuth relative to the North Pole and the angle of elevation relative to the plane of launcher horizon. The first stage of armaments homing is carried out by achievement of equal readings of current angles of a longitudinal axis of a device for alignment of an armaments launcher with target designation angle values, and the second one - by deviations of the target from the sighting centre of armaments. Besides, deviation of current angle values from the ones required at the first stage shall not exceed by absolute value a quarter of the vision field diagonal of the launcher sight.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of firing with carried antitank and other armaments complexes, due to higher accuracy of alignment.
