FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: method is proposed for direct homing of armaments at a moving target under arbitrary placement of a commander and an armaments operator on site, including joint alignment of reconnaissance facilities of the commander and armament facilities of the operator on site relative to geographical coordinates, target tracking by the commander using reconnaissance facilities and continuous measurement of the tracked target with discrecity of at least 0.5 seconds and their input into the commander's control panel, calculation of polar coordinates of the target (distance, direction angle, angle of elevation) in the commander's control panel) relative to location of the operator's armaments. Then a homing command and polar coordinates of the target are automatically transmitted to the armaments operator from the commander's control panel to the armaments operator's panel with its subsequent homing at the target. When the armaments operator homes at the target, homing is carried out in accordance with target direction angle and elevation angle values confirmed with account of target movement. When the target is detected by the armaments operator, it sends a criterion to the commander's control panel that the target has been detected.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of armaments homing at a target and reduced time of target designation.
