FIELD: weapon and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: method of shooting includes the target search, measurement of polar coordinates of the target by radar or laser range finder of the launcher, transmission of the target coordinates to the control panel, calculation of distance to the point of the target destruction by the guided missile, formation and sending of the targeting command to the launcher, aiming of arms to the target, target capture for automated tracking, generation in the control panel of permission to start of the guided missile for target shooting, missile launch and tracking to the target. Launch is performed with height excess of trajectory of flight of the missile above the target. The selection of level of excess and type of trajectory of the missile flight is performed at the time of pressing of the start button depending on the distance to the target destruction by the missile.

EFFECT: providing an optimum trajectory of the missile flight, possibility of target destruction at the distant boundary of the impact zone and high self-sufficiency of the launcher operation.
