FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring spontaneous and Staph. aureus cell culture induced chemoluminescence (CL), calculating a difference of light sums of spontaneous and induced CL of whole diluted blood measured immediately after blood sampling and 4 hours after blood incubation in vitro. The difference increasing more than by 20 standard units is accompanied by progressing pancreatic destruction and developing purulent complications. The value of induced CL more than 35 standard units has testified to the presence of toxic syndrome.
EFFECT: use of the method enables predicting the developing purulent-destructive pancreatic and retroperitoneal processes, and estimating the manifestation of toxic syndrome, serving as a secondary criterion for determining a surgery day, and respectively conducting its, and enables the estimation of clinical effectiveness of detoxication therapy.
