FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machinery. The field chopper includes a hinged device and comprises a rigid chassis axle, transmission box and two wheel drive transmission gears. The drive transmission gears are connected to the traction wheels and kinematically connected to the transmission box. The drive chassis axle is formed by the central unit and the chassis carrying blocks rigidly fixed with flange mounting on the right and left on the central unit. Each chassis carrying block comprises a wheel drive transmission gear protruding in the direction of the hinged device.
EFFECT: in the proposed field chopper the location of the traction wheels is provided closer to the hinged device which leads to an optimal weight distribution of the field chopper.
