FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a functional food product of sprouted grains and the product manufacture method. The food product contains a grain base, represented by sprouted grains, and additives represented by dried fruits and berries at preset components ratio. The grain base may be represented by sprouted grains of wheat, barley, rye, oats or their mixture. The invention relates to food industry, in particular, to methods for production of dietary and functional food, namely, sprouted grains. According to the invention, the product production method involves removal of impurities, washing with 18-25°C flowing water, sprouting under film during 36-56 hours till sprouts grow to no more than 0.5 mm height, thermal treatment of sprouted grains, their milling into 3-5 mm particles and addition of milled dried fruits and berries to the milled sprouted grains.
EFFECT: produced product has a high nutritive value, is saturated with biologically active substances in a form ready for human digestion and has a long storage life.
