FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: method and device for evaporation of liquefied natural gas (LNG) consist in generation of electric energy during the evaporation process by means of heat exchange using energy source transformation means for obtaining electric energy. Electric energy is generated during evaporation process by means of heat exchange, and the above heat exchange is performed by means of non-condensing gas in closed cycle, which releases the heat. The first portion of the above LNG is pumped for storage to header of natural gas that can be depleted or partially depleted, and the rest portion of evaporated LNG that was not transported for storage is burnt and expanded in the turbine.
EFFECT: higher energy efficiency.
