SUBSTANCE: method involves exhaust of process gas from arc steel-making furnace (ASMF) through the connection pipe provided in the arch; combustion in afterburner; primary cleaning and cooling of combustion products in water-cooled dust-collecting chamber, water-cooled gas duct and cooler; final removal of dust in dry gas cleaning plant; exhaust with induced-draft fan and vent to atmosphere through stack. Final removal of dust from gas is performed n ceramic filter of up to 5 mg/nm3 at operating temperature of up to 600°C and maximum possible temperature of up to 900°C and with cooling of clean gas in heat recovery steam generator up to 150°C with steam generation.
EFFECT: increasing ASMF gas cleaning degree, reducing costs of material, capital, power and labour resources.
