FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: procedure consists in suction of atmospheric air and in its mixing with withdrawn process gas to temperature of mixture as high, as 1200°C. Produced mixture of gases is directed to a section of after-burning of stationary flue duct compensating deficit amount of oxygen in after-burnt withdrawn gas mixture by controlled supply of aspiration gases. Duration of after-burnt withdrawn gas mixture presence at the after-burning section is increased by increasing area of cross section of the after-burning section for not more, than four times. Further, there is performed finish withdrawn gas mixture cleaning. The device is equipped with the section of after-burning in a middle part of the stationary flue duct; area of cross section of the after-burning section is bigger, than area of cross section of the stationary flue duct for not more, than four times. Nozzles for supply of aspiration gases are arranged uniformly at input of the after-burning section.
EFFECT: reduced exhaust of contaminants to atmosphere due to complete combustive components after-burning.
