FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: method to charge a set of "n" lithium-ion accumulator batteries (LIAB) within a geostationary man-made earth satellite (MMES) consists in monitoring of current voltage of accumulators in each accumulator battery and performance of charging by direct current to achieve voltage of any accumulator of each accumulator battery of the specified value. Accumulator batteries are charged in turns, at the same time, if maximum value of accumulator voltage from a number of its accumulators has achieved the upper permissible value or exceeds the maximum voltage of accumulators from a number of other accumulator batteries, duration of this accumulator battery charging is set as equal to zero. The mathematical expression is given to define the permissible unbalance of batteries by capacitance.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of using a set of n lithium-ion accumulator batteries within a geostationary man-made earth satellite.
