“N” LITHIUM-IONIC STORAGE BATTERIES SET CHARGING METHOD INCLUDED INTO THE GEOSTATIONARY EARTH SATELLITE VEHICLE Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC H02J7/35

Abstract RU 2684905 C1

FIELD: electrical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: field of application: electrical equipment. ESV autonomous power supply system contains connected to the load through the series converter solar battery, “n” of storage batteries with control devices through the charging converters connected to the solar battery, and through the discharge converters are to the load. Each converter contains made in the form of a pulse-width modulator control circuit. SB charging is carried out by the stepped charging current. At that, after the storage battery discharge, in the first stage the charging is carried out by the limiting charging current, after the storage battery charging voltage reaches its limit, the charging current decreases and recharges the battery to its maximum level, only with the lower current, wherein the charging and recharging current decrease to the limit level is carried out several times until the minimum charging current establishment, inclusively.

EFFECT: technical result is enabling of the storage batteries (SB) full energy intensity restoration, which will lead to increase in the Earth satellite vehicle (ESV) survivability, as well as enable the charging devices continuity, which will reduce its final cost and its production time.
