SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agricultural engineering, namely to device and operation of wind-screen cleaning harvesters to achieve a technical result which is the increase of the carrying capacity of wind-screen cleaning and improving the productivity of the grain harvester in adverse conditions. The device for adjusting the gap between the louvers of the screen of cleaning the grain heap comprises a cleaning screen, torsion bars, eccentrics, the device for changing and fixing the angle of rotation of torsion bars, the screen unit and its elements, and an actuator. The actuator additionally contains the mechanically linked bracket of adjustment, swivel head, propeller power and adjustable profile.

EFFECT: as a result of additional adjustments it became possible to reallocate optimally the air flow from the fan of cleaning due to mounting on the cleaning elements at the beginning and end of the screen of additional design elements that enable to obtain the uneven gap (with linear or non-linear increase or decrease the gap along the length of the screen from its beginning to end or vice versa) along the length of the screen.
