FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises strip rolling at rough rolls of final stand with feed of rolling oil, coiling rolled strips and recrystallization annealing in bell-type furnace with protective atmosphere. Higher surface finish of rolled strip is ensured by feeding rolling oil separately via two systems, i.e. system E1 feeds rolling oil to stands 1st to 3rd while system E2 feeds rolling oil to stand 4th. Note here that total content of rolling oil in system E1 equals 1.2-3.2% while that in system E2 makes 0.80-2.50%. While metal annealing is performed in protective atmosphere with increased protective gas flushing volume to 30 m3/h at maximum emulsion evaporation temperature of 450-550°C by stand thermocouple for 5 hours. Note also that roughness of final stand roll barrel making 4.0-4.5 mcm.
EFFECT: higher quality of cold-rolled strips from low-carbon steel for automotive industry.
