FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used if making high-pressure thin-wall vessels. Blank with conical transition section on outer surface and variable-thickness bottom with center bulge is used. First, blank cylindrical section in cold state is subjected to rotary drawing in several passes to make bulged cylindrical section for breaking-down of neck, thin-wall cylindrical section, and transition section with conical inner surface. Said rotary drawing is carried out with intermediate recrystallisation annealing and shot blasting. Then, after heating in inductor, the blank is displaced over chute toward clamp and fed therein by pusher for rotary breaking-down with gas flame heating and heating temperature control. Note here that has jet envelopes completely the entire machining zone. Pyrometer is mounted above heating zone and clear of the blank axis so that laser marker beam is directed at right angle to blank surface.
EFFECT: higher precision and quality.
