FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed mill consists of two single-cutter elementary mills shifted in circle through 180°. Single-cutter mills consist of ring-shape body 1 with ledge made over ring entire width H and shaped to acute angle f1 in cross-section that features radius R at transition of ledge 2 onto body OD. Four through stepped holes 9 and one threaded hole 10 are made on body ring face. Axes of said four holes are located on mean diameter of said ring and parallel with body hole center axis. Axes of said four holes are located in pairs on diametrically opposite side of said face. Vertex of angle f1 that shapes the ledge is located on straight line (3) passing through vertex of angle f1 to bisect it. Site 4 of one side of said ledge is provided with two holes with their axes 6 perpendicular to site surface. Cutting two-side-sharp element 7 is arranged on site of one of the ledge sides and secured thereon by rectangular clamping plate 16 with two holes for fasteners 8. Cutting element cutting edge extends beyond ledge boundary. Proposed mills are integrated by means of pins fitted in paired holes. Free holes on outer side are intended for fitting gang mill. One pair of diametral holes is shifted through angle f2 from straight line crossing vertex of angle f1 center of gravity of the body. Second pair of diametral holes is shifted through angle f2 + f3 from said straight line. Angles f2 and f3 form angle equal to 90 degrees.
EFFECT: simplified design, lower manufacture and operating costs.
