FIELD: metal working by cutting.
SUBSTANCE: tool includes body, cutting tip with opening secured to angular seat of body by means of headed rod arranged in stepped opening of body and having threaded end with nut. In order to increase rigidity and operational reliability tool is provided with chip breaker, ring and screw. Chip breaker is mounted on cutting tip and it is in the form of plate. Said rod is double-step one; diameters of its steps increase from threaded end of rod to head of rod. Less diameter step of rod passes in through stepped opening of tool body, in opening of cutting tip and in through stepped opening of plate of chip breaker. Head of rod is arranged in through stepped opening of tool body. Said ring is in the form of tore; it is mounted on bottom of through stepped opening of body with possibility of its shifting towards axis of rod, of engagement with rod and with possibility of contact of its toroidal surface (at side opposite relative to apex of cone recess) with cone surface of bottom of through stepped opening of body, with end surface of rod step of large diameter and lateral surface of rod step of small diameter. Axis of rod is shifted relative to axis of opening of cutting tip in direction to apex of angular recess of body. Screw is mounted in body for preventing rotation of rod around its own axis at tightening nut and it engages with lengthwise groove in large diameter step of rod. Tool may be in the form of cutter.
EFFECT: improved design, enhanced operational reliability, increased rigidity of tool.
