FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: ion implantation method of surfaces of parts from structural steel involves treatment of surface of the parts by bombardment of copper and lead ion flow; and monothetic alloy of copper and lead is used as cathode of implanter, to which 7-12% of stannum is added by contact alloying. Implantation is performed with a batch of (5.5-8.5)·1017 ion/cm2.
EFFECT: increasing wear resistance at decreasing sliding friction coefficient when external load is applied to rubbing parts.
