FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method involves treatment of surface of structural steel parts by a flow of ions of copper and lead using a cathode-implanter made from monotectic alloy of copper and lead into which 5-11% of aluminium are introduced by contact alloying, and the implantation is carried out with the dose of (4.5-6.5)·1017 ion/cm2.
EFFECT: improved corrosion resistance of structural steel parts operated in friction conditions with the application of external load to the rubbing parts in the corrosion environment.
