FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: the invention relates to machine engineering, in particular, to methods of ion treatment of pieces made from construction steels. Copper ions are implanted into the steel surface with the dosage of (1-5)·1017 ions/cm2, then lead ions are implanted with the dosage of (0,2...0,3)·D, where D is the dosage of copper ion implantation.
EFFECT: increased fatigue endurance and reduced the friction quotient of the processed parts.
