FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: according to the method, the object is illuminated with a non-coherent light source; colour reference and current images of the object which are spaced apart in time are obtained, filtered, recorded and then magnified. The images are compared while superimposing them on the scale and eliminating angular misalignments of the images. Two additional channels for illuminating the object and evaluating the colour, type and coordinates of the object are introduced and the colour, type and spatial coordinates of the object are evaluated.
EFFECT: high accuracy of determining coordinates, possibility of determining the type and colour of the object.
