FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: in the method, neighbouring frames are initialised from a video sequence. A constant component is subtracted from the obtained frames. The energy spectrum of said frames is measured and presented in form of a matrix of previous frames and a matrix of current frames. Characteristics of the previous and current frames are determined. The difference in the ratio of two neighbouring frames is determined and the obtained difference is compared with a threshold, thereby determining appearance of an object on the current frame of the image.

EFFECT: high accuracy of detecting objects on images.
