SUBSTANCE: the claimed invention provides for a radar image on the monitor, at a high replay speed, of the runway in the rectangular "azimuth angle-range" coordinates and the information on the slant range to the airfield surface along the sighting line set at an elevation angle equal to the glide-path angle to the horizon plane, as well as the information on the direction of the glide-path vector, height of the center of masses relative to the running plane, vertical velocity, lateral velocity and lateral deviation from the preset landing path and the drift angle of the flight vehicle, the character of presentation of the mentioned information provides for a reliable monitoring of its truth by the pilot.
EFFECT: enhanced precision of realization of the landing maneuver.
