FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to surgery and may be applied for resection of a right lobe of liver. The right lobe of liver is mobilised by transection of falciform, right triangular and coronary ligaments. Hepatic veins ending by an inferior vena cava are prepared, and left and middle hepatic veins are separated along the stems. A right index finger is used to make a path 4 cm long in a pre-caval space downright and to the outside at the angle of 30° with respect to a left hepatic vein from a lateral semi-circle of this vein to a lateral semi-circle of the inferior vena cava in the distal direction of the middle hepatic vein return. Closed Mikulicz's clamp branches are introduced in the formed tunnel, opened, and a holder is fixed therein. The branches are removed from the created path with pulling through the holder to enable hepatic traction by 3 cm upwards that leads to opening the hepatic portion of the inferior vena cava and small veins to be sequentially ligated. It is followed by hepatic parenchyma section and ligature at the return of the right hepatic vein.
EFFECT: method enables reducing injuries and blood loss.
