FIELD: fire-fighting equipment.

SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to method of inerting for prevention of inflammation and fire extinguishing in closed space. Method of inerting for prevention of inflammation and for fire extinguishing in closed space (10), in which fresh air is supplied by regulated method into premises atmosphere as inflow air, and outflow air is removed from premises atmosphere by regulated method. In case of inflammation or for prevention of inflammation gaseous fire-extinguishing agent is supplied into premises atmosphere as inflow air. In space (10) lower pressure (px) in comparison with normal atmospheric pressure is created and/or supported by supplying inflow air into premises atmosphere. Full volume flow of extinguishing reagent is more or less equal to volume flow of outflow air, released from premises atmosphere. Method is realised by means of device, which contains, at least, one mechanism (11) for providing gaseous extinguishing reagent, and for direct introduction of said reagent into atmosphere of closed space (10), in particular, in case of fire origination in said space (10). Device additionally contains mechanism (12) of pressure relief, which contains mechanism (13) producing negative pressure and control unit (14). Control unit (14) is made with possibility of controlling mechanism (13) depending on pressure (px), prevailing in atmosphere of closed space (10).
