FIELD: fire-prevention facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method, and also a device for prevention and/or extinguishing of fires in closed spaces, where temperature of internal air atmosphere must not exceed the specified value. The device comprises a mechanism (4) for measurement of oxygen content, a system for controlled supply of inert gas into the internal air atmosphere of the closed space (10) and the controller (11). The mechanism is required to measure oxygen content in the atmosphere of the closed space (10). The system comprises a container (1) and an evaporator (16). The container is made in the form of a cooling reservoir for supply and storage of inert gas in liquefied form. The evaporator (16) is connected with the container (1), for evaporation of the inert gas contained in the container (1), and supply of the evaporated inert gas into the atmosphere of the closed space (10). A controller (11), is arranged for control of a system of inert gas supply provided that the measured content of oxygen, such as oxygen content in the atmosphere of the closed space (10), either reduces to a certain level of inerting and is maintained at this level, or is maintained at a certain level of inerting. The evaporator (16) is arranged as capable of releasing thermal energy required for evaporation of a liquid inert gas, from the atmosphere of the closed space (10).
EFFECT: method for device realisation includes several stages: provision of inert gas in a container, supply and monitoring of inert gas supply into an evaporator.
