FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming, particularly, to making ring articles from casts. Proposed method comprises swaging, broaching and rolling. Billet is, first, swaged by conical-end punches with flat sites with diameter equal to that of holes to be broached and, then, by flat-end punches. Now, axial bore is broached and reamed to final sizes.
EFFECT: high-quality macro- and micro-structure of articles from refractory, special and corrosion proof steels and alloys.
