FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for suspension polymerisation of olefins and includes antifoulants. The method of polymerising olefins involves: a) polymerisation of at least a liquid olefin monomer in a polymerisation reactor to form a polymerised suspension containing polyolefin and said liquid monomer; b) continuous transfer of the polymerisation suspension from the polymerisation reactor to an evaporation chamber through a transfer line, having a tube in which there is turbulent flow of a three-phase stream containing a polymer, liquid monomers and gaseous monomers; c) separating the evaporated monomer from the polymer in said evaporation chamber. The method is characterised by that upstream the inlet opening of said tube at step (b), a liquid antifoulant is continuously fed in amount from about 5·10-5 to 50·10-5 wt % with respect to the total amount of monomers fed at polymerisation step (a).
EFFECT: faster production of polymer in the process overall, minimisation of fouling of equipment lying downstream the tube.
