FIELD: oil and gas production.
SUBSTANCE: method is realised by addition of a recovery agent into end gas, containing a high-temperature gaseous carbon dioxide, leaving the metallurgical furnace, in order to provide interaction of gaseous carbon dioxide with a recovery agent to convert end gas. The recovery agent is added, when oxygen concentration in end gas is 1 vol.% or below. The process of end gas conversion is completed, when temperature of end gas makes 800°C or higher. To implement this method, two versions of the device are used.
EFFECT: reduced emissions of gaseous carbon dioxide together with higher heat content of end gas.
