FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method of treatment of flue gas containing carbon dioxide and is used at starting and stopping of the converter. Hydrocarbon containing gas is supplied to flue gas, and carbon dioxide of flue gas reacts with hydrocarbon and, at least, partially is transformed into carbon monoxide and hydrogen, while the content of carbon dioxide in flue gas is monitored by the gas sensor for control of supply of hydrocarbon containing gas. Hydrocarbon containing gas is supplied when the content of carbon dioxide in flue gas exceeds the preset value. Flue gas together with the mix "monoxide carbon/hydrogen" is used in additional process of burning. The adjusting ring for prevention of air suction through loose parts is provided in the converter.
EFFECT: possibility of removal of carbon dioxide from flue gas and its use in combustible gas.
